What to put on the curb:
- Cardboard
- Newspaper
- All paper grades (except shredded)
- Plastic #1 and #2 (bottles with a neck)
- Aluminum cans
- Steel cans (only item that needs food residue washed out)

What to recycle at convenience centers:
- Everything that is recyclable through curbside
- Shredded paper
- Glass bottles (brown, green and clear)
- Computers and small electronics (no TVs or microwaves)
- Wet cell batteries
- Motor oil

How to prepare your curbside recyclables:
- All items must be in blue bags, clear bags or a covered bin
- Items do not need to be sorted – all curbside recyclables may be placed in the same bag
- Lids do not need to be removed from plastic recyclables
- Aluminum cans do not need to be crushed
- Tabs do not need to be removed from aluminum cans

- John A. Patten Recreation Center, 3202 Kelly’s Ferry Road
- Access Road at DuPont Parkway, collocated with the Refuse Collection Center
- East Brainerd Baseball Complex, end of Batter’s Place Road
- Brainerd Area, location to be announced

Convenience center hours:
- Monday-Friday: 10:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
